Kansas City Florists Fight Deceptive Listings |

Florists in Kansas City, Kan.,
are looking to Michigan for its
success in fighting deceptive listings. Nearly 20 states have enacted laws or
amendments that ban deceptive listings – when a company buys listings in the
phone book posing as a local florist – since this issue surfaced a decade ago.
Despite legislation, enforcement remains the biggest issue.
