The purpose of the Floricultural Hall of Fame is to establish a symbol of recognition which will encourage high standards of service and professional responsibility in members of the floral industry.
The objectives are:
To ensure the perpetuation of the memories of such men and women by enshrining their good wooks in a manner befitting their contributions; and
To provide appropriate recognition to honor those men and women of sound moral character and high integrity who have made outstanding and lasting contributions to the advancement of floriculture as an integral part of the American way of life.
The deadline for receiving nominations for 2010 is January 29, 2010, and nominations stay active for a period of 10 years.
