In lieu of a once "quiet relationship," two Connecticut state associations are taking strides to adapt to a changing funeral industry, in which Americans are buying caskets on the Internet and having "wham-bang funerals," according to Bob Heffernan, executive director of the Connecticut Florists Association (CFA).
