Today is FTD's 12th annual Good Neighbor Day, a campaign that lets florists give away thousands of flowers to customers who share buds with neighbors, acquaintances and friends. And while FTD started promoting the day 12 years ago, Brook Jacobs Sr. of Greenbrook Flowers in Jackson, Miss., created the good deed and kicked off the first one a year earlier.
