About the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass

Hotel Rates and Reservations
SAF DISCOUNT ROOM RATE. SAF has a block of rooms set aside for convention registrants at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass, 5594 West Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler, AZ 85226. The SAF rate is $209/night single/double. The rate includes bellman and maid gratuities but does not include sales tax and other hotel tariffs.
MAKING YOUR RESERVATION. SAF anticipates a sold out convention, so make your reservations early. Call 602-225-0100 and mention SAF to reserve your room at SAF's group discount rate.
Be sure to reserve your room by by August 31, 2009 in order to get the SAF room rate! We cannot guarantee the discount rate for reservations placed after August 31. Cancellations must be received by September 1, 2009 in order to receive a full refund.
Getting There
FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS. Austin Travel, SAF's official travel company, will be happy to make your travel arrangements for SAF Phoenix 2009 at
special discounted rates. American is offering a 5% discount off published fares and Continental is offering a 2-5% discount off selected flights. To make your airline reservations, call
Austin Travel at 800-796-0071 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern and indicate that you are with SAF.
TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL. The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass is located 11 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Click here for directions. If
you are not renting a car, taxis and shuttles can provide ground
transportation to the hotel. The hotel's concierge can provide details
and pricing information.
What to Wear
CLIMATE. Temperatures
in the Phoenix area are in the high 80's to low 90's in mid to late
September.
DRESS. Resort casual is the fashion for most SAF Phoenix 2009
events: casual shirts, slacks, shorts or dresses.
The Awards
Dinner calls for business dress: collared shirt, tie and jacket for
men, pantsuit or dress for women. For the Presidents Banquet, the attire is black tie optional.
