Retailers in ‘Wait and See’ Holiday Mode |

September is likely finding retailers with more backroom-storage space
than in past years, as many delay or reduce their holiday purchasing.
Import cargo volume for June, July and August was down 20 percent
compared to last year, according to the National Retail Federation (NRF). The NRF reports that October, typically the peak month of the year, is forecast to be down 18 percent.
